Meet Your Instructor

Kiati Plooksawasdi is an Award-Winning Boudoir, Portrait, and Dance Photographer and Educator based in Ellicott City, MD. Kiati has over 15 years of experience in the photography industry and enjoys teaching and mentoring in both aspects of photography and the business behind photography when he is not behind the lens. With the knowledge of utilizing both natural and artificial light in his work, he leverages his ability to shape light to contour his subjects to create drama and depth within his images.
Kiati has 20 years in the corporate world developing business strategies for Fortune 150 companies, Kiati has helped launch and mentor several small businesses and now brings that experience in helping photographers develop their strategies. In addition to the business side, Kiati also mentors on how he creates his art through posing and lighting.
Kiati is a CheetahStand Master Creator and serves as an ambassador for Aftershoot, Baby Dream Backdrops, FloriColor, Spider Holster and Vienne Milano. Kiati is also the AIBP (Association of International Boudoir Photographers) 2022 Ambassador of Excellence, and has been published in Rangefinder, Philosophie Boudoir Magazine among other publications and has spoken at ImagingUSA, WPPI, Pas De Deux Dance Photography Conference, ClickCon and the Peculiar Collective Conference. He is currently planning several destination workshops and retreats for 2025.

Lea Flores is a Colorado Springs-based luxury photographer specializing in branding, boudoir, headshots, and beauty portraiture. With over 15 years of experience, she’s known for creating empowering, magazine-worthy images that help women and entrepreneurs’ step fully into their confidence and be seen.
Lea is also the creative force behind two distinctive studio spaces, each intentionally designed to serve both her clients and the wider creative community. Her flagship space, the Lea Flores Photography Studio, is the heart of her luxury boudoir brand—featuring boho-chic aesthetics and sensual, stylized sets that elevate every session. She recently expanded with a newly built barndominium studio, a stunning blend of industrial charm and modern elegance. Both studios are available for rent and have become go-to destinations for photographers, content creators, and entrepreneurs seeking inspiring environments to bring their visions to life. Through these spaces, Lea also hosts workshops and retreats, inviting top educators from around the world to teach and empower fellow photographers.

Light Painting

Light Painting under the Colorado Sky
What better way to capture the charm and beauty of Colorado than to paint it with light. We will start off with learning the basics of light painting, the tools used and the general settings for your camera. Then we will venture out on the property in search of epic scenes to compliment our subject and light paint our around them. For this Add-on class, you will need a tripod and it is highly suggested to have a remote trigger for your camera. My lens of choice is either the 35mm or a 24-70mm.
